The road to the first site will be placed, way to work in the coming weeks

The intervention from 250,000 euros includes 2 km dirt road made between Campomuletto and Roccolo Cattagno.

Many have long been waiting for, now it's official: the road to Ortigara will be repaired and made safe, in anticipation of the Triveneto Alpine Rally of 2020. In particular, we will completely redone the 2 kilometers of dirt road between Campomuletto and locality Roccolo Cattagno.

The intervention of makeover and safety measures will be possible thanks to 200 thousand euros of regional contributions from Gal Montagna Vicentina " for sustainable tourism development in rural areas, as well as other 50,000 euros which will be made available by the municipalities affected by the intervention, or Asiago, Enego, Foza, Rotzo and Gallium.
The design and construction of the works will subject the performerMontana Union Dear Regency 7 Municipalities and will begin in the coming weeks, as soon as weather conditions permit.

The most damaged of the road leading to the mount Ortigara, the stretch between locations Campomuletto and Cattagno Family, will be completely redone, with consolidation of the walls, shaving the Fund, pose and pressing of material stabilized in order to obtain a homogeneous and without holes. In addition, the inclination of Magazine Street to avoid puddles and standing water.
Being in a protected area, the road will not be pavedinstead.

The issue of degraded road conditions Ortigara had been raised for some time by the alpini and the many mountain enthusiasts and tourists, who frequent the area in summer for hiking or mountain biking. Now, thanks to this intervention, access to piazzale Lozze will be guaranteed without the inconvenience of recent years.
