Monday, March 14 was declared the winner of the 2016 Mario Rigoni Stern Award for Multilingual literature in the Alps.
The jury composed by Ilvo Diamanti, Paola Maria Filippi, Mario Isnenghi, Daniele and Paolo Rumiz, coordinated by Margherita De Tomas, ruled that to win this important award named after the famous writer asiaghese is ANTONIO DANCERS.
The book of dancers, entitled "memory Crystals. The reflections of the time lives "meetings and published by Alpinia Editrice, conquered the jury with the story of a pair of mountaineers novice, in the footsteps of the great war, found a diary lost between the ice of San Mateo during the battle. A diary that recalls a story of friendship, of suffering, of youth, of death, filtering the war literature in light of today's memory and retrieving, through the interweaving of past and present, the extraordinary Figure of Arnaldo Berni.
Besides the book of dancers, were greatly appreciated the works of Renzo Camp "of frost and blood," Fabio Cavalli "Edg. The traditional clothing in Val di Fassa, " Pino Loperfido "the choice of Caesar"and Matthew Righetto "Open your eyes", which deserved a special mention.
