Autumn is coming and the Municipality of Roana, in collaboration with the Pro loco of Roana, Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca, is preparing with the fourth edition of "Vèrben – a train of Colors".
The first day starts on Saturday 8 October at Piazza Santa Giustina in Roana with traditional games and food stands (hot drinks, dried cakes, sweets and chestnuts).
The second day of Sunday 9 October continues with the group of re-enactors of "lavori de 'na volta" presenting "Antichi mestieri", followed by other amateur activities and entertainment for everyone, including the demonstration of "Herbest show Cooking" with chef Lorenzo de Guio, finalist at MasterChef Italia.
We also remember the visit to the MalgAsiago educational farm and the treasure hunt with Asiago Guide (by reservation IAT ROANA 0424/694361)
Finally, the restaurants of Roana offer for the occasion the traditional dish "quails and osei scapai" for dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday – by reservation.
The second weekend sees as protagonists the hamlets of Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca with common activities and proposals in the individual centers.
Saturday, October 15 opening of the event Vèrben in Canove (multipurpose building), Cesuna (Palaciclamino) and Treschè Conca (square in the town center) with departure of the trains in the company of Asiago Guides with stories about the Cimbrian legends.
The initiatives in the various hamlets are many to give the opportunity to a wide audience to participate, not to be missed: "The Lady of the Owls" with her birds of prey (Sunday 16 at the Palazzetto in Canove); many workshops, excursions, treasure hunts, animation and various entertainments, the group "Cateaters Pipe Band", itinerant animation with Scottish bagpipes in Canove, Cesuna and Treschè Conca (Sunday 16 October); to conclude with the shows including:
- The "Reading Show" of Carichi Sospesi at the Forte Corbin in Treschè Conca (Saturday 15 at 16:30);
- "Il fuoco del ricordo ..." theatrical show produced by Dream Show, a journey through poetry, music and performance in the evocative setting of the Pineta in Cesuna (Saturday 15 at 20:30);
- "Gli Spaventapasseri" itinerant theatrical animation by Acqualta Teatro with stories, legends and giant bubbles on stilts and bicycles on two wheels (in Treschè Conca Sunday 16 at 14:00 and in Cesuna Sunday 16 at 10:30).
