Mayor Magnabosco has ordered the immediate closure of all schools of order and grade in the municipality of Roana on 15 and 16 November 2019
Due to the adverse weather conditions of today On Friday 15/11/2019, referred to the bulletin of the Veneto region No. 80/2019, the Mayor of the municipality of Roana has ordered the closure of schools present in the municipal territory for today Friday 15/11/2019 and tomorrow Saturday 16/11/2019.
The Boscon road between Cesuna and Canove is also closed.

From arpa.veneto.it, update of 15/11/2019 at 9:00: Friday weather disrupted with widespread rainfall, at times strong. Abundant quantities, locally also very abundant, on mountain/pedemontan areas,in the lowlands from content to locally abundant on the northern areas. Heavy snowfall in the mountains, especially over 1500 m. Tense winds at times strong of Scirocco on the coast and neighboring plain; especiallyon the pre-alpine ridges, from the southern quadrants, with some gusts in the valleys.
It is noted that following the meeting held in Vicenza Prefecture on 14.11.2019 (at 18:00), in view of the warnings issued by the CFD - Veneto Region with forecasts of upcoming adverse weather events, 15.11.2019 will be formed the C.O.C. (Community Operations Center) at the Municipality of Roana,or the C.O.I. (Intercommunal Operations Center) at the Montana Union based in Asiago.

OBJECT: CHIUSURA OF THE SCHOOLS PRESENTI ON THE COMUNALE TERRITORY TO THE FORECAST METEO CONDITIONS WARNING FOR FRIDAY 15/11/2019 AND Saturday 16/11/2019.
THE MAYOR
VISTO the warning of hydrogeological and hydraulic criticality No. 80/2019 on the date of 14.11.2019 of 12 o'clock, 15 with which the Decentralized Functional Center of the Veneto Region, communicates the weather alert from the evening of Thursday 14.11 .2019 until the evening of Saturday16/11/2019; in particular, significant rainfall and strong winds are expected, especially today, which can generate "red" hydrogeological and geological criticality, which corresponds to the highest level of alarm;
CONSIDERATE that this situation could have such developments that it will lead to problems related to the maintenance of the safety of the population and that the possible accumulation of atmospheric precipitation could cause problems to the circulation ;
RESALTHE the opportunity to arrange the immediate closure of schools of all orders and grades of the entire municipality for the whole day of Friday 15 November and Saturday 16 November 2019, also taking into account the fact that similar decision has been taken by other Municipalities of the Plateau;
SEE ON: 50 and 54 of the D.Lgs. 18 August 2000, No. 267;

For the reasons specified in the premise and which are expressly recalled here thetraining of schools of every order and grade of the whole municipality for the entire days of Friday 15 November and Saturday 16 November 2019
This Ordinance is sent to the Prefecture of Vicenza, and to the Head of the Comprehensive Institute of Gallio, for the taking of the measures of competence and published on the register of the Institution.
