Winter events 2023 of the Municipality of Roana and the Pro loco

The Christmas atmosphere is getting closer and closer and the Municipality of Roana together with its 6 Pro loco is ready to welcome tourists and residents during the winter season, with a wide range of events, involving different age targets, in particular the adult and younger audience.

The Councillor for Tourism, Cesare Azzolini, comments on the winter initiatives as follows: "During the Christmas period, numerous activities of different kinds are scheduled in our municipal hamlets, starting from cultural meetings aimed especially at adults, which will touch on different themes, up to appointments dedicated to children, passing through many naturalistic initiatives, artistic, creative and historical. The proposals have been designed ad hoc to allow everyone to participate, both tourists and residents, to be able to discover some particular nuances of our territory and our landscape, savoring and enjoying the sweet atmosphere of Christmas."

Here are some events not to be missed , such as:

- The evenings of "Cultura in Scena": an unmissable opportunity to feed the mind organized by the Municipality of Roana with the collaboration of the Pro loco Cesuna, which features two great prominent personalities: Francesco Vidotto, mountain writer, explorer of words and mountains, for the first evening of Friday 29 December and Don Marco Pozza, Italian priest, writer, personality, television author and journalist, for the second evening of Thursday 4 January.

- The "Bintar Zait" – "Winter Time" which starts at the beginning of December and ends at the Epiphany, a "large container" of events created by the Pro loco Canove, with special evenings, art, music, creativity and sweetness! Of particular note is the "Metamorphosis of the Soul" meeting and debate with Gaspare Mutolo, collaborator of justice and exhibition of his works at the Palazzetto di Canove, Saturday 9 December;

- The path of the nativity scenes of Treschè Conca from 22 December to 7 January, in which nativity scenes are set up by the inhabitants of the districts, in the gardens, on the windows or in other places near the houses, thus creating a real itinerary, which every year attracts tourists and residents from all over the Altopianese territory.

- Excursions and snowshoeing organized by the various Pro loco in collaboration with Asiago Guide to discover the territory of the various Roano hamlets through history, tradition, Cimbrian legends and much more.

There will also be cultural evenings, shows, theater and concerts to immerse yourself in a Christmas atmosphere; for the little ones, Santa Claus and the Befana will arrive with gifts and sweets.
