Women's football is back in Asiago

The new women's soccer team di Asiago has just started his journey in serie D

After more than twenty years of absence Asiago returns to its women's soccer team.

The team, coached by coach Vasco Sambugaro, has just started his adventure in serie D, in group only.

Start a little slow for Sartori and companions, but there's a whole season to redeem himself. "The average age of the group is very low – says the General Manager of the club Football Union seven municipalities, Frederick Lara - we have a dozen girls eighteen or so, considering that the team consists of 23 players. We practice twice a week at camp Zamindar of Asiago, sometimes we join with the team of women's soccer in Bassano del Grappa for a joint preparation at campo sportivo San Lazzaro. Between the two companies, in fact, there is a close collaboration. The target for the season, since this is our debut in serie D, beating well after each addition, grow and have fun, but we also need to improve technical and tactical point of view. The group can count on the experience of five items, but our strength must continue to be the enthusiasm, combined with the determination and desire to play. The League that lies ahead is challenging not only for teams in their group, but also for long trips. I expect commitment from all ragazze».
