Mount Ortigara, also known as the "Calvary of the Alpini", is one of the most famous peaks of the Asiago Plateau, a destination for beautiful and exciting excursions.
In this video, Andrea Vardi and Susanna Bottazzi (IRISPRODUZIONI) take us to discover the scenic and historical beauties of this mountain, through spectacular shots, also made from above.
The gaze moves from the wonders of the uncontaminated nature of the Plateau, to the remains of the Great War, which still remind us of the violence and tragic events that occurred in these areas a hundred years ago.
A truly exciting journey, between nature and history, which takes us to the top of Ortigara, where the severed column dedicated to the Fallen watches silently, while among the slopes of the mountains echoes the echo of three words: NOT TO FORGET.
