LIVE PTZ WEBCAM IN CONTINUOUS MOVEMENT FROM CESUNA di roana ON THE ASIAGO PLATEAU seven municipalities

This live webcam by Asiago.it, installed at the BelvedereHotel / Belvedere Restaurant in Cesuna in collaboration with the Municipality of Roana, offers a splendid and wide view ofthe Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau.

The shots, with images transmitted live,range from the left on the town of the delightful village of Cesuna,in the Cimbra language Ka-Sune or Kan-Züne,one of the 6 hamlets of the municipality of Roana.

The webcam frame then gradually moves to the right going to resume the landscape and ranging first on Albaredo di Rotzo,then on Mezzaselva with Monte Erio and Cima Verena behind it.

Then frame Roana,with behind the Larici, Cima Portule, Cima XII, Mount Rasta and theInterrupted with the homonymous Forte. Just to the right you can see Camporovere,then Mount Katz,then Asiago and Gallio,with the OngaraMountains, Melette, Castelgomberto and Fior.

The webcam tour, before finishing its tour, frames in the background Mount Sisemol, Valbella andthe Ekar,and then return to the foreground on the town of Cesuna and via Armistizio,on the opposite side of the starting one, and on Mount Lemerle (mt 1233). This mountain had great historical importance during the Great War:it was in fact the scene of two distinct battles, one in 1916 and one in June 1918, when the Austrian advance was stopped forever. The remains recovered here by Italian and Austrian soldiers are preserved at the Asiago Shrine,while those of british soldiers who died in 1918 are buried in the two cemeteries Magnaboschi and Boscon.

The view offered by this webcam is really priceless: gentle slopes, imposing mountains, green pastures, uncontaminated woods, small mountain villages. A view of the Plateau that tells us about the territory in the four seasons, allowing us to witness the rebirth of nature in spring,to enjoy the sunny summer days,to admire the warm colors of foliage in autumn and the whiteness of snow in winter.
