WEBCAM LIVE FROM ENEGO AREA SPORTS FACILITIES
This live webcam is installed in collaboration with the Municipality of Enego and frames the area of the sports facilities of the country, called Zea,which in Cimbrian means "lake". It is a basin, a few countries from the center of Enego,protected to the west by the ridge of Mount Lisser and favorably exposed to the sun in summer, but also particularly cold in winter.
There is a grass football field,a multi-purpose concrete field for soccer and basketball,a volleyball court,a floodlit tennis court and a soccer field, as well as agreen area with pulley and swings.
The area, particularly quiet, is served by a large parking lot and there is also a pub / brewery.
The area in question is the subject of interest by the municipal administration with the development of a redevelopment project through the construction of a cross-country skiing ring of about 1200 meters with lighting and artificial snow already financed with funds for neighboring municipalities, in the executive design phase.
In the preliminary definition phase, however, the project for the construction of an artificial pond of about 200 square meters for children, with Kneipp path and water games,in the style of those of Trentino and South Tyrol, with the implementation of the summer offer.

VIEW OF THE AREA OF THE SPORTS FACILITIES OF ENEGO
Enego is the easternmost of the municipalities of theAsiago Plateau. The center of the village is located about 800 m above sea level, but its municipal territory, with its picturesque and characteristic districts,extends from the edges of the Valsugana,at an altitude of 200 m above sea level, on the right bank of the Brentariver, up to the Ortigara massif at an altitude of 2150 m above sea level.
The great charm of the Eneghese territory lies in the variety of its landscapes,in the mildness of the climate and in the richness of its vegetation,which offers the best of the pre-Alpine flora.
The pride of this beautiful mountain area is the enchanting Piana di Marcesina:a vast plateau, at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level, with wide pastures and majestic spruce woods,a destination for hikers, sportsmen and hikers both in summer and in winter.
The Piana di Marcesina in the winter months is called"The Finland of Italy"not only for its record temperatures during the cold season (up to -34 °), but also and above all because starting from the Centro Fondo Enego in Valmaron there are 200 km of Nordic ski slopes,always perfectly snowy and beaten, which cross exciting places and enchanted landscapes.
The territory of the Municipality of Enego is also dotted with places of historical interest,especially related to the Great War,among which we remember first mount Ortigara, a mountain sacred to the Fatherland,on top of which, at 2105 m, there is the famous Colonna Mozza,a memorial stone to the Italian fallen,erected in 1920 by the National Alpine Association"not to forget"the tragic events of 1916-17.
Among the places of particular interest of the Municipality of Enego linked to the First World War also the Forte Lisser,a great work of military architecture built between 1911 and 1914 in order to control the Valsugana and renamed by the war correspondents the"Lion of the Plateau". The fort, recently restored,can be visited freely or with a guide.
