LIVE WEBCAM FROM MONTE LISSER TO ENEGO

This live webcam is installed on Mount Lisser in the territory of Enego, one of the 7 municipalities of the plateau of the same name, in collaboration with the Siben Alte Komoine Museum Association, a group of volunteers who manage Fort Lisser. The latter, a majestic fortification dating back to the First World War, stood to guard the ancient Italian border with the Austro-Hungarian Empire and today represents an important garrison of historical and landscape memory.

In the foreground, on the left of the frame, you can see a portion of the fort, silent testimony of the war events of the last century, while on the right you can see the dirt road that leads to the fortress, up to the rest area and panoramic point, easily recognizable by the presence of the parking lot and the wooden fences that delimit it. A privileged place from which to admire the majesty of the surrounding landscape.

In the background, an exceptional sequence of peaks unfolds that frame the horizon with their breathtaking beauty.
In the frame, the view opens, proceeding from the left, on the Tombolin de Rava, and then embraces the entire Lagorai chain with the Palon de la Cavalara, the Col de la Boia and the Orena area.

Continuing to the right, the Cima Campo, Monte Coppolo and the famous Velo della Madonna emerge, which introduces the imposing Pale di San Martino group, one of the most fascinating icons of the Dolomites.

Moving your gaze southwards, you can see the Col dei Barc, the Col Perer, the Celado, the Vallazza, the Monte Pavione and the Col del Luna, up to Monte Magheron and the Vette Grandi. In continuity you can see the Cima Lan, Monte San Mauro and the clearly recognizable Monte Avena, with its gentle and panoramic lines.

To close this extraordinary alpine "fresco", on the right, you can finally distinguish the Col Santo and the Sassumà, marking the end of this spectacular sector of panorama.

This webcam is a valuable tool for enjoying, even from a distance, the beauty of Mount Lisser and the vast horizons that surround it.
