LIVE VIEW OF THE APPLES: RONCHETTO CHAIRLIFT AND MELETTE DI DIETRO SLOPE
This webcam in Asiago.it offers a wide view of the Melette di Dietro sector, one of the most popular in the Le Melette Ski Area in Gallio. The shot embraces the slopes served by the ski lifts, the surrounding woods and a vast panorama of the north-eastern part of the Asiago Plateau Seven Municipalities.
In the foreground is the Ronchetto chairlift line, one of the four ski lifts in the ski area, which serves some of the most popular slopes in the area. During the winter season, the webcam allows you to check the presence of snow on the slope in real time , observe the activity of the lift and assess the conditions of the Melette di Dietro slope before reaching the ski area.
On the left of the image you can recognize Malga Lemerle and, further away, you can see the Marcesina Plain, which, due to its particular conformation and a combination of climatic factors, is known as one of the coldest areas in Italy. Behind it, on clear days, the gaze can go as far as the Vette Feltrine and the Pale di San Martino.
On the right side extends the area of Monte Fior, one of the most evocative excursion destinations on the plateau. During the summer months it is frequented by trekking enthusiasts who follow the itinerary of the "City of Rock", characterized by spectacular stratified limestone formations engraved by karst furrows, which among the pastures draw walls, corridors and natural passages, giving life to a truly special landscape. Monte Fior also preserves important testimonies of the Great War, including trenches, walkways, emplacements and tunnels, which transform the excursion into a path through nature, geology and historical memory.
Also on the right of the frame is the arrival station of the modern detachable exaggerated chairlift Busa Fonda-Meletta, which climbs from the base of the lifts to an altitude of 1,650 meters, near the Baita Relax & Gourmet.
In the summer, the snow-covered slopes of the ski area give way to meadows and pastures, crossed by paths and dirt roads. The area thus becomes a pleasant starting point for walks and excursions among the Melette, Monte Fior and the vast natural environments of the northern part of the plateau.
Thanks to this live webcam, installed by Asiago.it in collaboration with Le Melette, it is possible to check the weather conditions live, check the opening of the chairlift and observe the landscape over the seasons, with a privileged view of the Ronchetto chairlift, the Melette di Dietro slope, Malga Lemerle and the surrounding mountains.
