This Webcam, installed on the top of Mount Verena, near the refuge of the same name, at 2,020 m above sea level, offers a splendid panoramic view of the central basin of the Asiago Plateau and the surrounding mountains, and a partial view of the downhill ski slopes of the Verena 2000 Ski Area.

The ski resorts of the area reach the summit of Monte Verena, from which they take their name, at over 2000 meters above sea level, and give the opportunity to have fun and ski on the highest slopes of the Plateau and among the highest of the Vicenza Prealps.
With its 12 downhill slopes always groomed, an area for beginners, ski and toboggan rental and 6 ski lifts, the ski area is a reference point for lovers of downhill skiing. The area is easily accessible thanks to the managers' commitment to keeping the streets clean and accessible. At the start of the lifts, at 1,600 m above sea level, there is the Verenetta Refuge, the beating heart of the entire Ski Area.

The area of Monte Verena is also a very popular destination in the summer, for the wide range of walks and excursions, and is also very interesting from a historical point of view. On the top of the mountain, in fact, there is the Verena Fort built between 1910 and 1914 to defend the Italian border. From this fort, known as the Dominator, the cannon shot that started the Great War of 15-18 was fired. The comfortable chairlift, which leads from an altitude of 1655 m to 2020 m, allows you to arrive at the fort even in summer, also offering the opportunity to enjoy the incredible panorama.
