This Webcam, installed on the top of Monte Verena, near the homonymous sanctuary, at 2,020 m above sea level, offers a magnificent panoramic view of the central basin of theAsiago plateau and the surrounding mountains, and a partial view downhill ski slopes of the Ski Area Verena 2000.

The ski resorts of the area reach the top of Monte Verena, from which they take their name, to over 2000 meters above sea level, and give the opportunity to have fun and ski on the slopes of the highest highest plateau and Vicenza prealps.
With its 12 downhill slopes always jokes, an area for beginners, renting skis and sledges and well 6 ski lifts, the ski area is a point of reference for lovers of downhill skiing. The area is easily accessible thanks to the commitment of managers to keep the streets clean and accessible. At the start of the plants, 1,600 m above sea level, lies the Refuge Verenetta, the heart of the whole Ski Area.

The area of Monte Verena is popular even in summer, to the wide range of walks and excursions, and is very interesting from a historical point of view. On the mountaintop, in fact, is the Strong Verena built between 1910 and 1914 to defend the Italian border. From this Fort, known as the Dominator, departed the cannon shot that started the great war of 15-18. The comfortable chair lift, which from an altitude of 1655 leads to 2020 m, allows the arrival to the Fort even in summer, offering the opportunity to enjoy the incredible scenery.
