This live webcam by Asiago.it,installed at the B&B Larici Rooms in Camporovere di Roana,offers a view of the pastures and woods adjacent to the Larici Village. The forest road that goes up to the forest is initially passable by car and then turns into a path limited to hikers and mountain bikes towards Basa Senocio and the Val Galmarara.
On the right, among the fir tops, you can see a glimpse of the Interrupted Fort,which at the outbreak of the First World War was placed in defense of the Italian border against the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The fortification was occupied by the enemy army in 1916 and was mainly used as an observatory. From the fortress, located at an altitude of 1,392 m, it is in fact possible to admire the entire Plateau of the Seven Municipalities. The Interrupted Fort takes its name from Mount Interrotto,on which it stands. In cimbro this mountain was called Hinterrucks,or "mountain located to the north". Recently renovated, it hosts concerts and outdoor theatrical performances in the summer.
