Sunday, October 30, 2022, the Naturalistic Museum of Asiago organizes a simple walk in nature in the company of the faunal.

The guide will immerse you in the enchanted woods and pastures of the Asiago Plateau where the adventure will begin!

In the woods we will meet traces of squirrels, foxes, deer, roe deer and much more!

You will discover the world of mammals in our mountains, learning to recognize the signs of presence of small rodents and large ungulates and discovering the population dynamics that have characterized them yesterday and today.

In ambush as true faunalists you will experience the thrill of observing mountain wild animals as part of the event of "M'ammalia 2022 - Between green and red: mammals at risk and expanding".

INFORMATION

The route has a difference in height of about 200m, not suitable for strollers.

Event for families recommended for adults and children aged 6 and over.

To bring with you: mountain boots, layered clothing, water or hot tea, a possible snack, gloves and cap. The route is not suitable for strollers.

Meeting at 16:00 at the headquarters of the Naturalistic Museum "Patrizio Rigoni" (Viale della Vittoria, 1 Asiago). It is necessary to move by car, with your own vehicle, to get to the starting point of the excursion.

M'AMMALIA 2022 - MAMMAL WEEK

"M'ammalia" is a set of annual events coordinated by the Italian Teriological Association and organized by scientific and cultural institutions (naturalistic museums, botanical gardens, libraries), protected natural areas and associations, with the aim of making mammals known, their characteristics, the ecosystems of which they are part and their conservation problems.

This year we have reached the xiv edition, and the theme is "Between green and red: mammals in expansion or in danger".
