Gallio is preparing to welcome the 10^ edition of AGRIGHEL, the long-awaited exhibition of mountain agricultural and forestry machinery. This event, which has now become a classic for enthusiasts and professionals in the sector, will be held in Gallio on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May 2024.
Organized by the Organizing Committee of Gallio, in synergy with the Ghel Jaeger Hunters Group and sponsored by the Unione Montana Spettabile Reggenza dei Sette Comuni, AGRIGHEL will be an unmissable event dedicated to traditions and innovation in the field of agriculture and mountain forestry (discover the PROGRAM below).
The beating heart of the event will be, as usual, Piazza Italia, but - new this year - the festival will also expand to the adjacent streets and squares of the picturesque center of Gallio.
Here, visitors will be able to explore stands of exhibitors from all over Italy and local artisans and small producers, admire agricultural and forestry machinery (machinery for forestry work, multiple varieties of tractors and agricultural vehicles) and be enchanted by a varied display of plants and flowers.
Among the most eagerly awaited novelties of the 2024 edition, the Chainsaw Carving Show stands out, an artistic competition that will see 10 carving sculptors engaged in creating works whose theme will be "A rooster for Gallium". The artists will be called upon to demonstrate their talent on Saturday afternoon, under the eyes of an exceptional jury ready to evaluate their creations.
Another highlight will be the stage of the Lumberjack's Pentathlon, which this year will be transformed from a traditional local event into an international competition: professionals from different nations will compete in five skill tests!
There will also be moments dedicated to musical entertainment, local food and wine delights and prize draws. And there will also be games and activities for children and the Bernese dog parade!
AGRIGHEL, therefore, in addition to being a showcase for modern technologies in the agricultural and forestry sector, aims to introduce the agricultural world to non-experts through practical demonstrations, exhibitions and engaging activities.
