CORO THE VOICES OF SPELONCA

The choir was born in Roana in 1997 when a group of friends decided to create a new choir with their own songs, performing them with few elements and giving life to The Voices of the Spelonca, referring to the perennial snow chasm near Mount Verena in Roana.
The spirit of the group is to be able to transmit to the public, stories, landscapes, emotions, sensations and fantasies proper to our places using only songs written and played by the group itself.
In fact, in all the meetings in which it participates, the ChoralE Group tries to convey the sensations that the choristers feel in reading the songs through various forms of vocal expression. In addition, believing deeply in the cultural message of music, he tries to spread it in the various moments of encounter, whether concerted or convivial.

GROUP CORALE BOLZANO VICENTINO

The Coral Group of Bolzano Vicentino was born as a popular choir in 1970.

Maintaining the male staff, which remains a characteristic of it, the Chorale Group has subsequently embarked on a path of technical and interpretive research that leads it to explore the most diverse musical genres: from Gregorian singing to spirituals, from polyphony to the most current proposals of the New Chorality.

In his long years of activity he has been the protagonist of numerous exhibitions and tours in Italy and abroad and promoter of frequent cultural exchanges with foreign formations.

The GCBV is frequently called as a laboratory choir in the most important courses for choir directors such as the Academy "P. Righele" and the Residential Course of Mel (BL) with teachers such as Manolo Da Rold, Pasquale Veleno, Mario Lanaro.

In its territory, the Choral Group is the organizer of two annual exhibitions: the Christmas Concert, dedicated to the Christmas vocal tradition, and the Spring Concert, a cycle of themed events. The ChoralE Group has won important awards at national choral competitions:
– In 2013 the 1st overall program category reserved for male choirs, the 3rd prize ex aequo category popular singing program, PREMIO to the best Venetian choir enrolled in the A.S.A.C. Veneto and PREMIO to the Choir Director with special interpretive skills to Francesco Grigolo at the 47th National Choral Competition "City of Vittorio Veneto".
– In 2017 silver in category B3 (folk folk singing male choirs section), silver with gold not awarded in category B2 (classic polyphonic singing male choirsection) at the XXVIII International Choral Singing Competition in Verona.
– In 2014 the band of distinction category popular singing at the 8th Venice ChoralE Festival in Venice (VE).
– In 2012 the band of distinction category popular singing at the 7th Venetian ChoralE Festival in Treviso (TV).
– In 2003 the band of excellence category popular singing at the 2nd Venetian ChoralE Festival in Lonigo (VI).

He also recorded two CDs, S'oscura l'oil in 2004, and Puer natus, three years later.

The Chorale Group has been headed since November 2010 by francesco Grigolo.

OBANTE'S FRIENDS

The AMICI OF THE OBANTE City of Valdagno Choir is a popularly inspired male choir that started its activity in 1947 on the spontaneous initiative of a group of mountain and folk singing enthusiasts. Its main goal has always been to enhance the heritage of traditions and tastes of Venetian popular culture, with particular attention to the vast repertoire of Vicentine dialect canoes. In the 1960s the choir was the first to sing the famous song "Lord of the Peaks", a miracle of poetry and melody by Bepi De Marzi, and to record it on his first record in 1964. The founder Gianni De Toni was replaced in 1974 by Mr. Paolo Penzo and since 2009 the choir is directed by Prof. Svetlana Skorobogataia Malets assisted by Mr. Sergio Frigo.

After many years the presidency of the choir has moved from Pietro Attilio Faccin to Dr. Liliana Magnani. The Choir Friends of the Obante boasts numerous concerts held throughout Italy, tours in Europe, Belarus, Canada (World Expo in Vancouver), national and international competitions, radio and television performances. He produced discograche recordings and edited the edition of an anthology of traditional Vicentini songs, harmonized by the Valdagnese musician Vere Paiola and entitled, like the records and CDs, "Cante Nostre".

In 2007, the 60th year since its birth, the choir published the volume entitled "1947-2007 From Sixty Years Choir Friends of the Obante City of Valdagno". In 2012, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary, he also released the box set containing the 60-year-old record reproduction and the new CD entitled "White Peaks".

Every year, in the vicinity of the Christmas holidays, he promotes the traditional "Cante Nostre" festival at the Super Theatre in Valdagno, which is attended by important choral groups.
