1° CUCU CERAMIC FESTIVAL, Cesuna di Roana, July-August 2016

1° CUCU ceramics FESTIVAL at the library "Mario Rigoni Stern" by Cesuna di Roana, from 16 July to August 7, 2016

In the month of July 2016, at the grounds of the Library "Mario Rigoni Stern" by Cesuna di Roana, will begin on 1° CUCU CERAMICS FESTIVAL, a series of events dedicated to the world ofceramic handicrafts.

Starting from 16 lasyor, for three consecutive Saturdays, kids and adults will learn the art of handling of clay by participating in interesting Labs dedicatiche will be held from 15.00 to 18.30 in outdoor areas of the library.
During the workshops, you will learn how to create beautiful and cute ceramic artifacts, like the traditional Highland cuchi , whistles from various shapes which, according to the customs of the place, donated as a token of love or of friendship.

All pieces made during the workshops will be put to dry and then be cooked in ovens set up for the occasion in the same venue on 6 and 7 August.

Saturday, August 6, in fact, will be devoted to the manufacture of kilns, involving some willing participants: talking will be constructed one in paper, one of fiber and one of bottles.
During the day, there will be numerous food stalls of pottery and various ceramic artists from Veneto, including Novesi and the Bochaleri Association Group of Venice, besides the Terracottai by Montelupo Fiornetino with their pitchers made in chambers.

Sunday, August 7, at the conclusion of the event, will open the bottles.
