Friday 1 September 2023 in Cesuna di Roana awaits you "Hunting for monumental trees", an interesting and easy guided naturalistic excursion with Asiago Guide.
How long can a plant live? Why is it so rare to find a really old tree? Let's discover the rare monumental specimens left in the plateau, to rest and fantasize under their large foliage. We will relive together their long life, telling stories and legends that these witnesses of the passage of time have lived through the centuries.
The excursion will start at 10:00 am with meeting at the PalaCiclamino di Cesuna.

EXCURSION DETAILS
MEETING POINT: 10.00 am in the square of the Palaciclamino in Cesuna (Via Brigata Forlì, 13) - We start on foot from the meeting place.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging). The route is a ring and does not present particular technical difficulties. It develops starting from the village of Cesuna on some short stretches of paved road, mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.
COST: 5 € for the guided excursion (free for residents in the Municipality of Roana)
