DISCOVERING HAROLD (BILL) TILMAN: THE LAST ROMANTIC HERO OF THE LAST CENTURY. For those who love the mountains and history, the name Tilman brings to mind heroic events. We retrace the stage as the English hero traveled from Asiago to Sasso, passing through the Bertigo and Zocchi districts, crossing the meadows on the edge of Cima Valbella and those of the Caporai district, descending through the Gianesoni to reach the Church of Sasso.
A point of historical interest is the visit to the Monument to the Memory of Roberto Sarfatti: the youngest volunteer and gold medal for military valor, who died at the age of 17 on January 28, 1918 in the Battle of the Three Mountains.
