With that of July 23, 2023 there are 53 editions of the Asiago International Philatelic Art Award, the event promoted by the municipal administration and the Philatelic and Numismatic Circle Seven Municipalities, chaired by Giovanni Luigi Fontana, historian of Economics and president of the prestigious Olympic Academy. 

Up for grabs, for the best stamp chosen among those issued in 2022, the trophy made by Giò Pomodoro. 

Special awards will go to stamps that have contributed to raising public awareness of environmental problems and have promoted tourism. 

During the award ceremony, which will take place at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Asiago, the Olympic Academy will award the best stamp with cultural content, and the Academy of philately and postal history the one that stood out for the creativity of the image. 

Present, as always, the Post Office of San Marino and the Italian Post Office. 

Those of the oldest republic in the world, in addition to proposing the most recent philatelic and numismatic production, with the date of July 22, will use a special postmark will stamp the correspondence presented at the appropriate station with aspecial postal cancellation depicting a dreamy image of Asiago, specially made by the Alexandrian Riccardo Guasco, who last year, with the series for the half century of Doctors Without Borders he won in San Marino "the Asiaghese Oscar of philately". 

Nature, a thematic strand that has lasted for years, refers instead to the image that Roberta Barolo created for the Italian postmark, which depicts a Kestrel.  

There will also be the philately exhibition, organized from 15 to 23 July 2023 by the Philatelic and Numismatic Circle Sette Comuni in the headquarters of the Dear Mountain Community (hours: every day from 16:00 to 19:00, Saturday and Sunday also from 9:30 to 12:30).
