Monday, 29 October, last day of the month, the residents of Lusiana, on theAsiago plateau, will assemble in the various districts of the country to expedite the arrival of March and thus of spring.
Tradition says that the spring season on theAltopiano dei Sette Comuni beginning the first of March: it doesn't matter if the roads and fields are still covered with snow.
To awaken the nature from the long slumber of winter, adults and children will meet in Piazza IV Novembre in Lusiana and parade through the streets of downtown banging loudly objects and instruments of all kinds.
The traditional festival is an opportunity to spend a day in merriment, dedicated to the traditions of our country, and is organized by Comune di Lusiana, in collaboration with caterers and retailers in the Centre, the Alpini and the civil protection.
