Tuesday, February 28, 2017, last day of the month, all in Lusiana, on theplateau of Asiago, that ' NDEMO CIAMARE MARSO!
Tradition has it that the village gatherings in Piazza San Giacomo to expedite the arrival of March and thus of spring. The spring season on theAltopiano dei Sette Comuni traditionally starts the first of March: it doesn't matter if the roads and fields are still covered with snow.
To awaken the nature from the long slumber of winter, then, young and old will meet in Lusiana at 20.30 and will parade through the streets of downtown banging loudly objects and instruments of all kinds.
The procession will start from Piazza San Giacomo, will go towards Vitarolo, turn to the gym down the road via Sette Comuni, to return finally to the streets, where sorseggerà of hot chocolate or mulled wine .
The traditional festival of Schella Marz is an opportunity to spend a day in merriment, dedicated to the traditions of our country, and is organized by Comune di Lusiana, in collaboration with caterers and retailers in the Centre, the Alpini and the civil protection.
