GOAL: South Zone - Asiago plateau and the Seven Municipalities (VI)
Did you know that in the Plateau were found fossil remains of crocodile and one of the most famous marine reptiles of all time, the Plesiosaurus?
Walking among the sedimentary rocks and in particular on the "ammonite red" we stop to observe the remains of the animals.
Nothing is immobile, nothing is immutable!
Along the way we will see how the landscape has changed over time, looking at the territory as an open window on history, where traces of each era remain among the quarries, in the beech woods, on the stones of the huts, the pastures ......
Reservations are required.
DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route does not present particular technical difficulties, it is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads, mountain paths some stretch of asphalt road, rarely busy and a labyrinth of rock! The difference in altitude uphill is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.
TO TAKE WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, water for the duration of the excursion (at least 1 liter), a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
COST: 15€ for the guided excursion per person. 5€ for children under 15 years.
