EXCURSION DEVELOPMENT:
From Mount Verena you can enjoy a fantastic view of the nearby Trentino so much so that from the homonymous fort, on May 24, 1915, two ringing, metallic, lacerating shots started that crossed the sky singing the cry of War! Italy enters the war against the former ally Austro-Hungary.
From the top at an altitude of 2000 m, we will enjoy a 360 ° panorama towards the Piana di Vezzena, towards the southern part of the plateau and up to the Brenta Dolomites; made even more unique by the first light of dawn. The camera is strongly recommended.
Upon arrival at the top we will enjoy the sunrise of the magnificent sunrise that can be seen at over 2000 meters. Afterwards guided tour of Forte Verena, a structure dating back to the First World War. Possible stop at the Forte Verena Refuge and now late in the morning, return to the starting point.

MEDIUM / CHALLENGING: The itinerary definitely exceeds three hours, it is complex for the difference in height that can reach 700 meters or for the length of the walk up to 6 hours, it takes place on a path with some climb or descent challenging but surmountable without the support of mountaineering equipment. We "Plateau Guides" are the first group of professional guides of the Plateau. We are local guides who have been operating on the territory of the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni since 2008.
