Alpine Group Foundation Celebration and release of Foza from 2 to 4 November

From Saturday 2 to Monday November 4, 2013 to Foza celebrate the85° Gruppo Alpini Foundation Foza (October 1928) and 95° of the Liberation of the country of Foza austro-Hungarian occupation (1° November 1918).

DETAILED PROGRAMME OF CELEBRATIONS

SATURDAY, 2 NOVEMBER

• Hours 10.30 meeting of the participants in front of the Town Hall and departure to the Monte Fior and Monte Castelgomberto, where he laid a wreath of Laurel in the String Harness. The stake of 5° Alpini Regiment and Commander of the Regiment, Colonel Biasiutti.

• 14.00 Hrs return to Foza and departure at 14.30, Monte Cornone, where you laid a laurel wreath at the Salto degli Alpini, a place where, on the evening of February 10, 1918, dozens of 5° alpini Regiment, in order not to fall into the hands of the enemy, preferred to throw himself from the cliff.

SUNDAY NOVEMBER 3

• Ore 9.30 Holy Mass in memory of the fallen of all wars at the parish church.

• 10.30 Hours crowding at the piazzale delle scuole.

• 10.45 A.m. start of the parade to the War Memorial with deposition laurel wreath and interventions of the authorities.

• 11.45 Hours entitling A.N.A Headquarters. the General Commander of the Group String Pirio Alpini Foza, composed of Battalions Morbegno, Monte Argentera, Monviso and Val Maira, during the first battle of Melette in June 1916;

• 12.30 A.m. refreshments.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3

• 10.00 A.m. lesson for schoolchildren of Foza on the great war in the territory of Foza curated by Paola Camelia with visit to the Museum and refreshments.
