Destination: the pastures and woods of Rubbio - Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities
Spring is the ideal season to get to know and collect the many wild herbs that grow among the pastures and woods of Rubbio, south of the Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities and benefit from contact with nature. Accompanied by an expert guide, we'll learn torecognize some wild herbs rich in scents and aromas whose nutritional and healing secrets are handed down from generation to generation.
We will also discover the meaning of the colors of flowers in nature and the guide will entertain you with many curiosities about the life of mountain plants and animals.
An experience that will give you a mountain of emotions!
At the end, those who wish can stop for lunch with friends at the Biancoia Refuge with a themed menu that includes:
- Risotto with kumino and macaroni with dandelion pesto and crispy speck
- Pork loin stuffed with dandelion
- Potato side dishes and stir-fried herb mix
- Grandma's cake with dandelion and pine nuts
- water, wine and coffee.

DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty of 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)
The route is a loop and does not present any particular technical difficulties. It develops between mountain paths and dirt roads. The difference in height is less than 250 m, there are no exposed sections.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the hike, a small snack such as dried fruit.
COST: €15 for the guided excursion per person, €10 for children under 15 and season ticket holders.
LUNCH COST: 25€ per person for the above menu at the RIfugio Biancoia.
The fee is to be paid directly to the venue.
