Literary meetings in Asiago "Aperitif with author: 1° August Cortina Mayor Andrea Fernandes presents his book" a mayor-in-exile "in collaboration with the library reached the point
From 19 July to 23 August to Asiago will hold a series of eventsentitled "literary "Aperitif with author", in which the authors will present his book going to reveal the backstory and curiosities.
Thursday, August 1 at the Central Stage of Asiago to 17.30 hours will take place the presentation of the book by Andrew Ferguson titled "a mayor in exile".
The exhibition is organized by the library reached the point which is going on IV Novembre 63 in Asiago.
A MAYOR IN EXILE
Is the 2006 when Andrea Fernandes, a master's degree in economics from the Bocconi University and a job as a financial consultant, decides to change his life. He returns to his roots, to Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy with the aim of achieving an ambitious project focuses on four points: one stop net building speculations; the return to the mountain, with the rejection of a worldliness of the excesses coming from outside; attention to the size of the family, the school, social dumping; a considerable investment on sports and nature to internationalize
Cortina and widen the catchment area at a time when the Italian tourism already showed the first symptoms of the crisis. The strategic plan soon becomes political and administrative program Fernandes, along with a team of young-"without political parties, without secretariats, just guys with ideas"-the trust of fellow cashes and becomes one of the youngest mayors in Italy, in 2012 confirmed to a second term.

In this book Andrew Ferguson traces its human and judicial affair that held for weeks on the front pages of newspapers and is still open.
