Sunday, August 8, 2021 in Camporovere di Roana is celebrated the 77th Anniversary of a very sad historical date for the hamlet of Roanese: on August8, 1944,in the middle of the Second World War, the Nazi fascists set fire to 74 houses in the hamlet of Camporovere; they were stopped thanks to the parish priest of the time who managed to convince the German soldiers to stop in their intent to destroy.
At 10:30 a.m., Holy Mass will be celebrated.
In addition,at the Pro Loco Office in Camporovere there will be a reproduction of the movie "Camporovere 8 August 1944", to remember the events of that day.
Continuous playback will start at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm and will resume in the afternoon from 15:00 to 18:00.
