MOUNTAIN MYSTERIES
Not everyone has the immediate capacity to understand thoroughly the secrets of the mountain. See the summits as turreted blocks, rough rock pillars and worthless, useless stone clusters arose here and there on a whim. Enough, though, look up and be surmounted by the grandeur of the sea vertically, with its millions of grains of sand, to hear bud amazement. The astonishment that raises questions.
Applications that generate mysteries: who will be there? Someone lives there? And, if it exists, how it will be done? In the Woods, among the rocks, in the dawn, under the leaves, still unexplored peaks. There they sleep the secrets of the mountain. And Mauro Corona takes us once again to discover them, tendendoci, helping hand to rise. Urges us to play with the rebound of the echo, which always wants the last word, listening to the voice of the wind, which we will never know from where.
MAURO CORONA
His writing career began in 1997, when a journalist friend published some of his stories in the newspaper Il Gazzettino. Since then he has published several books.
In his novels and short stories Crown brings us into contact with a world almost entirely disappeared: the life and traditions in countries of Valle del Vajont, an ecosystem that suffered violent upheavals following the tragedy. Characters and echoes of the past resurface between the lines of Corona, which deals with a passionate and slightly melancholy themes such as the relationship of man with nature, with its roots and with the looming economic and technological progress.
In case of bad weather the meeting will move to Teatrro Millepini of Asiago.
