The journey of Aperitivo con l'autore by Brazzale continues which, on Friday 21 August 2026 at 5:30 pm, will stop in Piazza Carli in Asiago with Catena Fiorello Galeano, protagonist of a meeting dedicated to his new novel "Serenata salentina - A hot summer, a group of friends and an unexpected journey to the South", published by Rizzoli.
With this new novel, the author takes readers on a story with a summer flavor, where the journey becomes an opportunity for change and rebirth. The protagonist is Gabriella De Santis, forty-two years old, back from a difficult separation and convinced that she will have to spend a summer marked by loneliness, while her children are away. What seems like a suspended time, however, turns into the beginning of a new adventure thanks to the meeting with four other women, each with their own baggage of fragility, hopes and desires for redemption.
Together, the five protagonists embark on a journey to Salento, among centuries-old olive trees, sunny squares, music and ancient memories. It is here that the novel finds its most authentic heart, telling the value of sisterhood, friendship and the ability to get back into the game when life seems to have lost direction. The past, instead of representing a burden, becomes a melody capable of opening new paths and new possibilities.
After the success of "Life and Sins of Maria Sentimento", Catena Fiorello Galeano returns with an intense and engaging story, in which emotions, landscapes and human relationships intertwine, giving life to a novel that celebrates the strength of women and the beauty of second chances.
The meeting will offer the public the opportunity to dialogue with the author and to discover the background of a novel that invites them to look to the future with renewed confidence.
Admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
In case of bad weather, the meeting will take place at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Asiago.
