On Monday, August 10, 2026, at 9:00 pm, the Cinema Teatro Palladio in Cesuna will host a new appointment in the Aperitivo con l'Autore by Brazzale review with Giuseppe Festa, writer, naturalist and environmental popularizer, who will present his new novel "La danza del lupo" (ed. Longanesi).
Ten years after the success of The Moon is of the Wolves, Giuseppe Festa returns to tell the story of the great predator symbol of the Apennines with a compelling thriller set in the woods of the Sibillini Mountains, where nature becomes the protagonist of a story full of suspense and twists.
The story begins with a shocking discovery: the body of a young biologist is found at the bottom of a wolf's den. The crime presents a disturbing and apparently inexplicable detail: the victim's heart has been removed and replaced with that of a wolf. An enigma that seems to defy logic and science.
Leading the investigation is Alma Rovere, a young policewoman with an absolute memory: every face, every word and every detail remain etched in her mind forever. An extraordinary gift that, at the same time, represents a difficult condemnation. To solve the case, Alma will have to delve into the heart of the woods, among ancient rituals, hidden secrets and truths that have their roots in the past, discovering that the key to the mystery may lie in the memories that she herself cannot forget.
Born from a real experience lived by the author during a night excursion dedicated to listening to wolves, the novel intertwines the charm of wild nature with the tension of the thriller, returning an authentic image of the wolf, far from the stereotypes and fears that have always accompanied this animal.
Admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
