On Wednesday 19 August 2026, at 21:00, the Palazzetto Polifunzionale in Canove will host a new interesting appointment in the Aperitivo con l'Autore by Brazzale review with Matteo Gracis, who will present his latest book "The smile of the warrior. The strategy of the two paths: rebelling and loving to be free", published by Sperling & Kupfer.
The volume is presented as a fairy tale and, at the same time, as a journey of personal evolution. At the center of the story is Kaelis, a symbolic figure who crosses eras very distant from each other: from the Sardinian caves of eighty thousand years ago to the lunar colonies of 3900, passing through the Sumerian cities, the year zero in Palestine, the Mayan civilizations, the Mongolian steppes and a futuristic Japan.
In every time and in every life, Kaelis encounters new challenges: injustices to fight, wars to avoid, corrupt powers to unmask, fears to overcome. His path is guided by a double spirit, both warrior and poet, rebel and wise, free and responsible.
Through this visionary narrative, Gracis proposes a reflection on the true inner revolution: the ability to honor life even while struggling, to love even in pain and not to lose faith in a better world, even when everything seems to betray it.
The meeting will offer the public the opportunity to deepen the themes of the book and to dialogue with the author on freedom, responsibility, awareness and personal change.
Admission to the event is free, subject to availability.
