From Friday 1 to Sunday 3 November 2024, on the occasion of All Saints' Day, Fort Corbin will be open and can be visited for three consecutive days from 10:00 to 17:00.
An excellent opportunity to spend a day immersed in the history of the Plateau, visiting the fortress and the historical military museum inside, where original war artifacts, photographs and period documents of the Great War are exhibited.
The Fort of Punta Corbin was in fact one of the Italian forts used during the First World War, to defend the Vicenza Prealps, although it was active only for a short period and then was occupied by the Austrians during the Strafexpedition of 1916. After the retreat of the opponents, it returned to Italian hands and was used as an observatory until the end of the conflict.
In addition to the fort, the refreshment point will also be open, for those who want to stop and enjoy a pleasant break in the evocative atmosphere of the park.
To reach it with a pleasant excursion on foot you can find the itinerary
The Fort can also be reached by car along a paved road that starts from the Church of Treschè Conca.
