Artemusica culture-closing concert of the summer 2017 "notes and colours"-Daniela Cabrera, violin-Andrea Maini, purple-music by Mozart, Rolla

Artemusica culture, in his important and varied programme, will appeal to fans by presenting a concert for violin and viola, which will be held on August 21 at 21.00 in the Sala s. Giustina di Roana. The duo, consisting of Daniela Cabrera and Andrea Maini, will present a diverse program and refined based on music by Mozart and Rolla.

Mozart composed K423, K424, duets and in 1783. His only works for violin and Viola, written on behalf of his friend Michael Haydn, the brother of Joseph Haydn, who for health reasons had not been able to complete a collection commissioned by the Archbishop of Salzburg.

Alessandro Rolla, slightly younger than Mozart, violist, violinist and conductor, is the most prolific composer of pieces for duo: a beautiful example is the Duet concertante in g major op. 5, that will run on this concert, which will conclude brilliantly summer Artemusica. Rolla helped spread the fame of Mozart in Italy heading the Italian premiere of the marriage of Figaro, and performed in numerous concerts with his pupil Nicolò Paganini.
