Music by m. p. Mussorgsky, f. Chopin
TheAssociation Artemusica Culture of Roana continues its concert season 2017 proposing to classical music enthusiasts the traditional concert of Carnival, which takes place Saturday, February 25, at 21.00, at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Canove.
The concert will have as protagonist the pianist Pierluigi Piran, which will offer a virtuosic, high-impact program, performing music by m. p. Mussorgsky, f. Chopin.
Tribute to two genes strongly linked to their homeland and their musical culture. "Pictures at an exhibition" is the most famous piano composition by Mussorgsky, and has become a centerpiece of the Repertoire of many pianists: is a journal of impressions of a visitor Strolling among the pictures at an exhibition, sprung from the imagination of Modest Mussorgsky after magically fascinated by paintings of his friend Viktor Alexandrovich Hartmann.
This composition door magically even the listener to travel with the mind between real and imaginary places, and has a strong appeal, so that this work has brought great orchestrators of his contemporaries to transcribe it for orchestra. The version that is permanently set, with great luck and success, and which helped to popularize the opera, is undoubtedly that of Maurice Ravel.
The concert continues with some famous pages of Chopin that will end with the famous Heroic Polish. Could not miss a tribute to Carnival with the wonderful souvenirs from Paganini, small variations on the theme of Venice Carnival.
Pierluigi Piran, graduated with highest honors from the Conservatory b. Marcello in Venice with Giorgio Agazzi, also means the Diploma degree in piano, with 110 and Praise, led by Antonio Tessoni, at the Conservatory "Pedrollo" in Vicenza. In parallel with the soloist is interested in the ottenento teaching the Diploma in music education (four years) at the Conservatory "Marcello" in Venice and second level academic Diploma in order to teach the instrument at school, at the Conservatory "Pedrollo" in Vicenza. Follows finally carrying out less in composition at the Conservatory "Pedrollo" in Vicenza. She is currently studying conducting with Maestro Giancarlo Andretta
She then for another five years with the great pianist Fausto Zadra at the Ecole Internationale de Piano in Lausanne, Rome and Tres (TN). Graduated with honors in Chamber music at the Academy of Imola with Pier Narciso Masi, deals with much of the repertoire for violin and piano duo with the violinist Francesco Comisso and participated in master classes of master Igor Lazko, Christine Paraschos, Sergey Senkov, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Aldo Ciccolini
He won numerous national and international competitions: national contest Città di Albenga, contest of the humane society of Milan, international competition Ville fleuve, international competition Forgione, course/Contest the piano concertos of l. v. Beethoven, Music Competition Città di Cento Competition Branches, etc.
Gives concerts in important Italian theatres such as: Sale Apollinee del Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Teatro Comunale di Vicenza, Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, Palazzo Firenze Roma, Auditorium San Filippo Neri di Bologna, the MART in Rovereto, Teatro Remondini of Bassano del Grappa, Palazzo Chigi Saracens of Siena, Masini Theatre in Faenza, Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto frescoes, Salone di Milano , etc.
Performs abroad in Germany, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Switzerland, Argentina, Belgium, Jordan.
Performs with important orchestras such as: Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra Donizetti in Bergamo, Orchestra of Bucharest, Constantinescu Orchestra directed by Maderna, directors: Roberto mixed, Pietro Mianiti, Daniel Belardinelli, Maurizio Dini Ciacci, Fabio Framba, Claudio Martignon.

He is currently is Professor of piano at the Middle School Musical "Parolari" Zelarino (Mestre), and was Professor of piano at the Conservatory "f. Torrefranca" of Vibo Valentia.
He is the Director and founder of the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra GOM of Mestre which debuted in April 2016 during XXX symphonic and Chamber Season of Mestre.
The concert, as usual, will be free, and will be followed by light refreshments.
