Concerto for violin and piano-Christina Adams, violin – Tatiana Brizhaneva, piano-music by Ravel, Stravinsky, Respighi

The Association "Artemusica culture" of Roana proposes, on Sunday evening, August 7, an important event, concert for violin and piano.
To perform at the Council Chamber of Canove, at 21.00, will be two extraordinary musicians: the violinist, pianist and American Christina Adams Tatiana Brizhaneva, of Russian origin.
Very interesting program, focusing on music composed by three great composers, Ravel, Stravinsky, Respighi, who with their diversity, will give way to the two artists to express their versatility and virtuosity.

The sonata in g major for violin is Ravel's piano opens with an Allegretto, smoother and more radiant in her calm smoothness page, where the two instruments blend together admirably "in negative", contrasting worlds of sound and atmosphere very distinct timbres continually. There is a strong contrast to the slow movement, where Ravel uses musical rhythms Americans so much in vogue in Europe of the 1920s with a Blues (moderate).
The final, the shortest movement of the Sonata, the company started, almost like an engine that you put into action, the opening movement's rhythmic idea transformed into a virtuosic, Perpetuum mobile (Allegro).

The musical core of the sonata for violin and piano by Respighi is a subject swinging, that was born from the initial piano triplets fog; It forms the basis of the entire first movement reappears after the culmination of the Andante espressivo with surprising vehemence, and eventually becomes, suitably modified, the theme of the passacaglia with twenty variations. If the piano part requires a prodigious virtuosity, performing violin instrument staff knowledge reflects rewarding by the composer.

Stravinsky's Suite Italienne is a transcript of his ballet Pulcinella inspired music by Pergolesi.
As in Pulcinella, also in the Suite italienne character of the musical language is unequivocally tonal, refined looks like innocence stravinskijano caliber instrumental, rhythmic and Sonic Alchemy in prominence in an unmistakable in the collection.
This, together with the insertion of some stubborn that alter the traditional harmonic framework, produces a stylistic gap that makes the steps about Pergolesi looks like a collage.
