The Association Artemusica Culture of Roana offers fans a spectacle of music and contemporary dance, which will be held Saturday, 29 April at 21.00 hours at the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Canove.

The show will be presented by Artemusica Culture is the result of a thorough analysis of certain themes which are then developed in the movement, and a technical and creative study intensive work on the part of the dancers, where the process of improvisation and construction is shared by all participants.

The show will present 4 different pieces, developed during some workshops and residences, from choreographers and professional dancers, and dancers who regularly attend these workshops and perform in contemporary dance performances, in an artistic dimension in which the art of dance comes close to other forms of expression, and leads them to inhabit alternative sites to the stage.

The imperceptible SPACE BETWEEN arrival and departure, Shari B and the dancers:

The result of a brief workshop where, starting with a staff (photo, song, video, sentence of a book etc.) you will arrive at a shared expressive vocabulary to investigate the flimsy difference between arriving and departing.

Song of and with Michela Negro and Shari B

SEPIA-TONED PORTRAITS of Joan Garzotto and all the dancers

A series of frames that appear to come from the past but are recomposed, accompanied
from the string quartet "Rosamunde" by Schubert, in a multiplicity of images fully real.

PAN/SYRINX DECONSTRUCTING with Jeanne Garzotto and Remo Peronato:

The work starts from our curiosity (a dancer/choreographer and musician) for the theme of metamorphosis of sound and movement. The music of Benjamin Britten (Six Metamorpohses after Ovid) and the mythological tale on which it is based have been the initial foothold. We set up the structure and then we started to dismantle, deconstruct. The metamorphosis dealt with P/SD is the aforementioned syringe nymph in love the God pan. In his escape Syringe is transformed into a ditch Reed. From this Pan produces a flute with which plays his love. Building P/SD has sought a common practice, the less specialized as possible. The invention of games has allowed to lower rational defenses to savor the joy of hard work and the seriousness of the playful element. Its use in the final work served to defuse pathological elements obsessive and passionate love. Using a looper has also made possible a significant integration of acoustic component in the physical practice. Repetition and layering became main terms P/SD. P/SD identifies four modes/oppositions between which unfolds the loving relationship of Pan/syringe and, more broadly, of each relationship: blind search and desire to stay close, quiet getaway and repulsion. Each module of the performance is punctuated by a Bell (end/beginning of the game). This module has an amplitude (defined by loop) that can vary from performance to performance. The same modules can be assembled in a different order and/or replicated. P/SD collects in its performative outcome, the results of the survey on the metamorphosis of Syringe, but also the practice of this survey. The form, first more narrative and consequential, becomes increasingly stylized and symbolic.

Remo Peronato is a classically trained musician (soloist's Diploma, Lugano CH 1995) with interests in philosophy (B.a., Padova 2001), theatre and dance.
