The event is part of the Asiago guardian of Biodiversity cycle of events.

Experiences with the guardians of nature, traditions and flavors of the Asiago Plateau

Event organized and co-financed by the Municipal Administration of the City of Asiago.

A walk through the districts, meadows and pastures of Asiago will accompany us to discover the fruits of the earth. Walking together we will discover what wild  nature gives to man in every season by observing flowers, shrubs and trees that characterize mountain biodiversity.

Our destination will be the La Calendula Farm, where Antonio Cantele will guide us to discover the numerous varieties of fruit trees grown with passion and care, telling us about the work, traditions and challenges of agriculture on the Plateau.

The experience will end with a tasting of local products, to directly savor the fruits of this land and get to know the territory with all the senses!

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
