Destination: Modern stable of Contrada Guardinalti - Asiago -  Asiago Plateau 7 Municipalities

The event is part of the Asiago guardian of Biodiversity cycle of events.

Experiences with the guardians of nature, traditions and flavors of the Asiago Plateau

Event organized and co-financed by the Municipal Administration of the City of Asiago.

A walk through the districts north of Asiago will accompany us to discover rural mountain life, where meadows and pastures still shape the landscape and tell the deep bond between man, breeding and territory. 

We will discover how, in addition to the high-altitude pastures, the central basin also continues to play a fundamental role in the dairy production of the Plateau.

A visit to a modern livestock farm (Bonelli Farm) will allow us to get to know the technologies and practices that today promote animal welfare, milk quality and sustainable farm management.

The experience will end with a tasting of local cheeses, to find in the flavors everything we will have discovered along the way.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 200 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.

We start on foot from the meeting point.
