The event is part of the Asiago guardian of Biodiversity cycle of events.

Experiences with the guardians of nature, traditions and flavors of the Asiago Plateau

Event organized and co-financed by the Municipal Administration of the City of Asiago.

A walk through meadows, pastures and districts of the central basin of Asiago will accompany us to discover the evolution of the rural landscape of the Plateau. Walking through environments shaped by the work of man, we will understand how farming systems and land management have changed over time, rediscovering ancient customs and traditions related to peasant life.

Our destination will be the traditional stable of the Rigoni Farm, where we will enter the heart of the daily work of the breeder to learn about methods, gestures and knowledge handed down from generation to generation.

The experience will end with a tasty snack based on typical cheeses and local products, to savor the authentic link between territory, tradition and quality.

📈DIFFICULTY: we assign a difficulty 2 on a scale from 1 (very easy) to 5 (challenging)

The route does not present any particular technical difficulties, is suitable for everyone and develops between dirt roads and mountain paths. The uphill elevation gain is less than 220 m, there are no exposed sections.

🎒TO BRING ALONG: mountain boots, layered clothing suitable for the mountain climate, waterproof jacket, backpack with water for the duration of the excursion, a small snack such as dried fruit, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat.
