Concert for the 51 ^ ASIAGO FESTIVAL Edition
On 15 August 2017, will be an August full of classical music to Asiago.
At 21.00, at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew, a thrilling concert will indeed pay homage to the composer guest Pierangelo Valtinoni, in a truly unmissable evening of musical review "Asiago Festival".
During the evening, talented musicians will perform the composer's songs and, for the first time ever, the "Cantata of war", a song composed by Valtinoni and dedicated to Asiago.
For fans of the genre, and for those who wish to spend an evening with friends listening to good live music, the experience promises to be rich in emotions.

PIERANGELO VALTINONI
Pierangelo Valtinoni is an Italian composer, born in Chicago in 1959.
He studied organ and organ composition with Antonio Chapman at the Conservatory of Bologna, choral music and choral conducting with Ugo Amendola at the Conservatory of Venice, Composition with Wolfango Dalla Vecchia at the Conservatory of Padua and conducting with Ludmil Descev and Tchifchian the musical Institute of Conegliano Veneto Vram.
Started his musical career as organist and as choirmaster and conductor. Then he dedicated himself to composition.
His compositions were performed in Italy, Europe, Asia and America, are recorded for the labels Tactus, Osnabrücker Jugendchor Discantica, Internationales Forum Junge Chormusik Fugatto, & Song, and Music Production. He recorded the CD 7-Seven Chamber music for the label Ariston-Ricordi.
He has had commissions from Komische Oper Berlin, Zurich Opera House, Internationales Forum Junge Chormusik Rotenburg-Wümme, International Organ competition Gaetano Callido of Borca di Cadore, from International Organ Festival Marco Enrico Bossi of Salò, the Duomo of Milan, from the Festival 2002 of Treviso and Vicenza, Klavier Theater, from the Società del Quartetto, by 2015, the biblical Festival Ensemble (Ballet), from The peanut gallery , by the Orchestra of the Teatro Olimpico, by 2017 and Theater Asiagofestival Theama.
Wrote four operas for teenagers published by Boosey & Hawkes Publishing House.
With the incidental music for the play Un Theater for Jules Verne's the last course won the award for best musical score to 60 º National Drama Festival in Pesaro.
He received the "Premio ASAC for choral music 2014".
