Walking through the enchanting views of Monte Zebio will find out more about war events that have marked this place. The area has been the scene of bitter fighting during the great war, was crossed by the "Winterstellung" Austria and stood opposite the Italian trenches. Here during his "year on the plateau" also fought Captain Emilio Lussu, in fact we find the cemetery of the Department which included: the Sassari Brigade.

We also see theAlpine environment with the difficulties and the resulting quality ... and maybe try some of their special cheese!

USEFUL TIPS

To bring: clothing in layers (the mountain climate changes very quickly), supplied in case of rain, water for the duration of the excursion (at least a litre for a full day), Hat, sunscreen.

We also recommend: trekking poles, dried fruits (from energy quickly), camera (a photo lasts forever a flower harvest a few hours), the book by Emilio Lussu "A year on the plateau".
