The most beautiful classical music in Asiago

From 6 to 15 August 2021 Asiago is preparing to host the concerts of the 55th edition of the "ASIAGO FESTIVAL",a musical event organized by the Friends of Music of Asiago "Fiorella Benetti Brazzale" which brings great music to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities.

Julius Berger, a world-famous cellist and character of particular cultural stature, is the artistic director of the Festival, in which every year artists of international value, both Italian and foreign, participate.

The festival in all its editions hosts an internationally renowned composer who is commissioned a work to be performed in absolute first performance during the festival. For the 2021 edition, the guest is the very young Turkish cellist Deniz Ayse Birdal.

As every year, the event will conquer citizens and tourists with really exciting concerts, for 4 evenings dedicated to the most beautiful classical music.

To frame the performances of the talented musicians, suggestive locations: the Cathedral of San Matteo, the Church of San Rocco, the Le Carceri Museum and the Interrupted Fort.

Asiagofestival is possible thanks to the support of the Municipality of Asiago,the Parish of San Matteo,and above all Brazzale s.p.a,the oldest dairy company in Italy based in Zanè - Vicenza. It was Fioretta Benetti Brazzale,mother of the current CEO of Brazzale, organist, concert performer, composer and native student of Asiago, who gave life to the festival in the 60s. Today, children and grandchildren carry it forward and lead its organizational direction.

The entrance and seating arrangement and sanitization of the premises will be regulated according to the current Covid-19 regulations.

Wednesday, August 11, 2021 - "Imeet with composer Ayşe Deniz Birdal"
· Time: 11:00 am
· Location: Council Hall of the Municipality of Asiago

Thursday, August 12, 2021 - Concerto Cello Passionato Cello Ensemble of cellos
· Hours: 5:00 pm
· Place: Fort interrupted (in case of bad weather at the Teatro Millepini at 21:00)

Saturday, August 14, 2021 - Concerto "Notte Trasfigurata. Violin, cello and piano"
· Hours: 19:00 and 21:00
· Location: Le Carceri Museum

Sunday, August 15, 2021 - Concerto d'organo "Veneto Felice: Organ music between Veneto and the World"
· Hours: 9:00 pm
· Location: Duomo San Matteo
