Saturday 17 and Sunday, October 18, 2015 you can taste the air of Asiago Foliage, a weekend dedicated to nature 's autumnal plateau, with woods and meadows that are colored after the summer becoming a palette in shades of warm and exciting.
In this regard, there are many initiatives proposed by the municipality of Asiago to this pleasant weekend: walking to discover solitary trees, creative workshops for children, pleasant music, scenic flights and the flavors of autumn.

Walk through the autumn vegetation of the North of Asiago. Places loved by writer Mario Rigoni Stern that, now as then, leave the beauty intact and visible of the contrada. Through the ancient streets that lead from the Centre to the districts we will visit the most beautiful corners of the South. The entire central basin will light of fall colors, but in these places, along the lines of "platten stoan" or along the green of the golf course, the Maple intensity, Sorbs and ash will also heat the coldest day.

LABORATORIES
Autumn magically happens -workshops for children and adults
That's right, in the autumn, as if by magic, something magical happens! The animals are getting ready to Hibernate, but the elves and Pixies are indaffaratissimi to paint nature! You can meet them in a cross-section of bosco recreated in Asiago square where they will set up the following activities:
• The Elves workshop: scientific workshop organized by the natural history museum, leaves and observation drawing from life.
• The goblins live: kids like little Elves will be involved in a creative workshop with materials and colors of autumn.
• Hand ... ... you create the forest: in two afternoons at the foliage in the square, a large tapestry with painting a bare tree waits for children and adults to become, thanks to dozens of hands, in a wonderful autumn tree.
• Sensory journey of autumn: is a short route that children and adults are invited to walk barefoot, in deep contact with the natural elements typical of autumn. Between the smell of MOSS and dried leaves, will be driven to touch with their senses, to listen with the sole of the foot, and through simple rhymes rhyme can reflect in order to grasp the essence of autumn.

Goodness of larch -Legend for children
At the end of the event for children, Sunday 18 October at 17:30 the author Morello Consuelo reads a legend written by her on why although larch conifer, every autumn leaves green to turn a lovely golden robe. The RURAL VENETIAN COURT in city streets
Moments of farm life, where work-related activities, repair tools, the harvesting, the songs and traditional flavours. Women do their laundry at the end of the season, before winter, and the cooks prepare the tastes of polenta (made at the time on fire) with the "renghe", while the Orchestra slipped by retraces rhymes, refrains and rhythms of the past.
IRISH DANCE with ZIVIREEL and Irish party!
The Zivireel dance group, aims to spread the passion and joy of Irish dancing. In his shows, which often combine music, images and poetry, brings to the stage dances of Northern European tradition reworked according to a taste deliciously present.
PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION "ASIAGO FOLIAGE" in city streets
At businesses combined, is staged the show of Foliage seen from the eyes of 23 photographers, creating a circuit along the downtown streets. The photographs will be exhibited on the afternoon of Saturday 17 and all day on Sunday, October 18. To vote for the winning photos will be guests of the Asiago plateau present for the occasion, and at 16:00, at the marquee Square autumn Campbell, will be announced the winners!

related to fall: from pumpkins with chestnuts, mushrooms with homemade sweets for the occasion, from household items and souvenirs.
