Educational tour for journalists and bloggers on the Futourist project

2019, in Italy, is the year of slowtourism: the Mibact, Ministry of Cultural Assets and Activities and Tourism has established it. The ideal opportunity to learn more about those of slowness has made virtue, such as Asiago: the common symbol of the Plateau is among the partners of the "Futourist" project, funded by the Interreg cross-border cooperation programme Italy-Austria that aims to promote an emotional tourism that rediscovers the territories, biodiversity and sustainable mobility.
This European programme, applied to alpine resorts less known to the masses, aims to promote an emotional and thematic type of tourism, far removed from the exploitation of mountain infrastructure; tourism that goes hand in hand withenvironmentaleducation, care and conservation of nature.

The City of Asiago has identified 5 thematic routes to be enhanced in a tourist key thanks to the practice of outdoor activities (walking, mountain biking, ciaspe). All itineraries start from the old town and allow users to easily walk or cycle to places of great natural, landscape, historical and culturalvalue; a way to connect with the landscape around Asiago and with the various operators of the territory. For slow tourists it is a matter of choosing from multiple proposals that favor the senses, pandering to the speed of the pace and the pace of the seasons.
Small journeys on a human dimension, marked by the encounters that can be made along the way.
With"Futourist"is encouraged CO2-freetourism, which goes hand in hand withenvironmentaleducation, care and conservation of nature.

On Saturday, September7, 2019, the City of Asiago organizes a day completely dedicated to sustainable tourism and outdooractivities.
On the occasion of this initiative, and always within the actions envisaged by the project, an educational tour is proposed for journalists and bloggers interested in the topic. As scheduled, in addition to the conference will be offered all the activities planned, including lunch and dinner.
