Excursion on Mount Cengio
On the morning of Tuesday, August 18, 2020,from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you'll be on a hike on Mount Cengio!
The medium-difficulty hike (about 8 km) takes place on one of the most evocative places of theAsiago Plateau: Mount Cengio,the scene of the famous battle during the First World War and the heroic resistance of the Greeders of Sardinia.
The route will take place between galleries evocative both from the historical and panoramicpoint of view, connected through the"Granatiera"overhanging the inhabitants of Cogollo del Cengio and Arsiero and then open on the plain. The spectacular view along the route will certainly not be lacking, leaving room also for emotions in memory of how many soldiers fought on this earth and lost their lives.
Information
PART: Piazzale Prince of Piedmont (Mount Cengio - Cogollo del Cengio) where you can leave the car in a large parking lot.
For those who enter the Asiago Plateau coming from the Valdastico Highway (Piovene-Rocchette exit) they will have to travel the SS 349 "State of Cost" until reaching the resort Campiello (quota 978). The paved road to access the forecourt will be located on the left just before the "Ai Granatieri" trattoria bar.
For those arriving from Asiago who arrived at the resort Campiello (quota 978), just after the village of Treschè Conca, the road to access Mount Cengio will be on the right.
FROM THE EXERTION:mountain boots, long trousers, layered clothing, hat and sunscreen. Don't forget water for the entire duration of the excursion (at least 1.5 liters) as there are no water supply points during the course.
REQUIRED to be fitted with a mask and a sanitizing gel.
COST: 15.00 adults, 10.00 children under 15 years of age, 5.00 children under 6 years
