Snowshoeing by night "the conjunction of moon, Venus, Mars," Saturday March 4, 2017

The Association organizes a charming Asiago Guide Guided snowshoe hike at night for Saturday March 4, 2017.

The sky gives us beautiful phenomena to be observed, between February and March is the conjunction between the Moon, a Crescent in growing phase, and the planets Venus and Mars, all clearly visible to the naked eye (actually near Neptune, but you can see there is only with the telescope).

You will see the three stars are all grouped in the Southwest. With the help of veteran Gianluca di Luccio aided by his explanations and his astronomical instruments, we could observe such specificity and feel like in time and history these phenomena influenced man and his imagination.

DETAILS OF THE EXCURSION

• Meeting point: 17.30 hours the parking lot of the consortium of dairies (via f. Baracca Asiago)
• Difficulty: 2 on a scale of 1 to 5;
• Duration of the excursion: half-day;
• Displacement: with your car.

To bring: walking boots (NO MOON BOOT), clothing (in winter there may be extreme cold, but walking or snowshoeing there heats up quickly), water or hot tea for the duration of the hike.
