At the table with the DANDELION of CONCO-10th Wine Festival, to Conco from 1 April to May 31, 2015
Back on the tables of our Plateau the 10th Edition of the wine review "at the table with the dandelion of Conco", held in April and may, with specific menus from appetizer to dessert, quiches and crêpes, soups and risottos, stuffed roasts and salads, biscuits and pancakes.
TheAltopiano di Asiago has a strong tradition of using herbs in cooking and liquoreria which this year plays with new combinations and flavors due to the multiple features and modes of operation which can have the dandelion, Taraxacum officinalis for botanists, with immediate reference to multiple healing virtues of the species.
To Conco soil combination occurs which makes the dandelion (produced De.Co.) aparticularly tender grass and delicate, almost sweet, suitable for thus to unusual uses, without forgetting that the buds can be preserved in vinegar like capers, which flowers can be processed to obtain delicate sweets, that honey is excellent companion with local cheeses.
