Basic courses of Orient-Walking 2013, Asiago plateau

The Association ' Asiago 7 Comuni Ski Orienteering Klub, organizes courses of level 1 of Orient Walking to Asiago to the 2013 season.

TheOrient-Walking is anexcursion, a "round" in the Woods, a walk with compass and map. Derives from two other disciplines: theOrienteering (hence diverges because we practice up and running and not without time control), and Nordic Walking (from which it differs because it requires the use of compass and map, it also carries out roads and paths).

Participants passing to a number of points shown on the map (boe) and places (belvedere) where you make a test of "observation", to reach the starting point.

On the map is not indicated no path but only the position of "MOE" (red circles) and the location of belvedere (red squares). The departure is marked on the map with a red triangle and finishes with a double circle.
There are no signs to follow and each crew must find their way using a map and compass.

You participate in "crew" consisting of 1 to 5 people regardless of age.

At the start (free), is delivered to the crew the map of the area with the designation of "MOE" from which transit and "belvedere".

The basic purpose of the course is to provide basic information to orient-walking and orienteering to move independently in the wild.

The course will be held every Wednesday in June, July, August, September at The Prunno in Asiago.
Participation is linked to the reservation at the course.

PROGRAM:

Opening hours: 17.00-19.00
Practice in natural environment in several places mentioned
-Introduction to the orientation and Orientwalking map reading
-Exercises with the use of the compass

The meeting point is fixed directly to the Prunno.

REGISTRATION:
